The Dorset Game Larder was started in October 2007 as a diversification enterprise from our main farming business, buying all types of game from local Dorset Shoots as well as utilising our own. The game is then plucked or butchered and packed and sold through local farm shops, independent butchers, pubs and restaurants:
We have brand new purpose built preparation and storage rooms.
And supply a variety of Quality Game & Game Products, dependent on season
A small amount is also sold retail and some is returned dressed to the shoots in exchange for feathered birds.
In May 2009 we expanded into making our own venison and wild game sausages and burgers and now do several outdoor events.

We are full members of Direct from Dorset and use their logo on many of our products.
Twenty eight different shoots supplied the Game Larder last season and we are always looking for more suppliers, large and small.
To our customers we say “If you are looking for something different to serve to the family or friends then why not try Game? Nothing is more natural or has more flavour”.
We can offer things as simple as quail eggs, sausages or burgers to fillets of venison or wild rabbit.
We will soon be adding game pates to our product list.
Trade orders are packaged and delivered in the local area.
